There is a huge emphasis on education and giving “everyone a fair chance” and New Zealand have devoted the highest percentage of public expenditure to education. Schools are equipped with excellent facilities and encourage students to join recreational and cultural activities.

Parents are highly encouraged by schools to become involved in their children’s education through voluntary activities, parent groups and board of trustees. This is also a great way to meet and get to know people in your community.
