The positions are based in NSW and QLD.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Other dealership experience will be considered.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>If you are a qualified and experienced HGV\/Truck\/Bus Technician with experience working within a Volvo dealership and are considering relocating, this could be your opportunity to secure a position with a leading Volvo dealership and have a clear pathway to gaining residency in Australia. <\/em>Experience working in a DAF, Mercedes, MAN or Scania dealership workshop will also be considered. As will candidates who have experience working in a major fleet workshop.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Successful applicants will be trade qualified with 3-5 years post qualification experience ideally within a Volvo Dealership. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Profile\u2026\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Trade Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Ideally suited to a HGV\/Truck mechanic working in a Volvo dealership. Experience working in a DAF, Mercedes, MAN or Scania dealership workshop will also be considered. As will candidates who have experience working in a major fleet workshop.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years post apprenticeship experience<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Basic PC Skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work pro-actively in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<li>Highly organised<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide the best possible service through a professional image and a \u201ccustomer first\u201d ethic.<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to all Health and Safety standards.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of quality controls<\/li>\n<li>Embrace training and professional development opportunities for continuing improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Have a positive attitude and will be a self-motivated team player.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Positions Details\u2026\u2026<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose, Repair and Maintenance of trucks.<\/li>\n<li>Use your knowledge and skills to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem.<\/li>\n<li>Using correct tools for the job install parts, equipment, wiring or programs to meet specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Performing routine maintenance on vehicles, determining when and what kind of work is required.<\/li>\n<li>Carry out service and repairs to vehicles in accordance with the times set by the Service Manager<\/li>\n<li>Keep all records up to date and in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>To keep your work knowledge of vehicles up to date and to be able to carry out servicing, repairs, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Make full use of service manuals and specialist tools.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a culture of safe working and a safe environment for all staff<\/li>\n<li>Raise concerns or actively address any health and safety issue identified<\/li>\n<li>Attend and apply all required safety training<\/li>\n<li>Follow all instructions given for working safely<\/li>\n<li>Protect own safety and health and not adversely affect the health of others<\/li>\n<li>Manage risk and compliance in area, including ongoing identification of material risks<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and ensure adequate risk management and compliance processes are in place<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the senior management and your team have a good understanding of the materials risk<\/li>\n<li>Implement and manage controls to manage risk<\/li>\n<li>Ensure key legislative requirements are met and changes to legislation communicated<\/li>\n<li>Promote a company-wide risk aware culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Remuneration Package\u2026\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Competitive salary $80K to $100,000K AUS Dollars depending on skills and experience, 12% Superannuation contribution, Bonus &amp; Overtime<\/li>\n<li>4 weeks annual leave<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing training opportunities<\/li>\n<li>4 &#8211; 6 weeks accommodation on arrival<\/li>\n<li>Our Australian clients provide financial assistance towards relocation costs for visa\u2019s, flights, and short-term accommodation on arrival.
