DIESEL/TRUCK MECHANIC ROLE – RELOCATION TO THE UNITED KINGDOM
GlobalForce Resource are working in partnership with a leading MAN dealership in the United Kingdom to recruit qualified and experienced Diesel/Truck Mechanics.
Video interviews will take place in early 2024 with prior screening taking place beforehand.
If you are a qualified and experienced Diesel/Truck Technician with experience working within a MAN dealership and are considering relocating, this could be your opportunity to secure a position with a leading MAN dealership and have a clear pathway to gaining residency in the United Kingdom.
Successful applicants will be trade qualified with 3-5 years post qualification experience within a MAN or Main Dealership.

Key Skills and Responsibilities……
- Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and to comply with repair instructions and stipulated settings and tolerances from manufacturers manuals, bulletins, check sheets
- To attend training and to keep abreast of the latest technical information which is circulated or
- To accurately report and record work done and tests carried out and to immediately report any further work required or vehicle faults.
- To protect and maintain all tools and equipment by only using them in the prescribed manner and returning them to their place of storage immediately after use. To immediately report any loss, shortage, damage or malfunction of tools and equipment or if any additional tools or equipment are required to complete the repair.
- To protect and take care of customers and the company’s property.
- To maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition and to remove all scrap etc. immediately upon completion of each repair.
- To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
- To undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required.
- To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial
- To comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies and standard procedures.
Skills and Qualifications….
Suitable candidates should have the following skill set:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Trade Qualified – Diesel Mechanic or Equivalent qualification with 3-5 years post qualification experience
- Must be committed to upskilling via ongoing training in any area required.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a dealership environment.
- Strong knowledge of heavy diesel vehicles, their systems, and components.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in heavy-duty vehicles.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, such as scanners and computerised testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and technical manuals accurately. Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

- Hourly Rate – £15 – £18 plus per hour – Dependent on relevant skills and experience
