FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN ROLES – RELOCATION TO AUSTRALIA

 

GlobalForce Resource Ltd are working with is a leading construction equipment supplier to recruit several qualified and experienced Mobile/Construction Plant Mechanics to work in the field for positions in Queensland, Western Australia, NSW and South Australia.

 

Video Interviews to take place early 2024 with prior screening beforehand.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities….

The role’s key responsibilities and accountabilities include (but may not be limited to):

  • Flexibility to work within a team or independently as operations and management require.
  • Ability to self-motivate, work safely and efficiently when working independently.
  • Always represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Attend to customer queries or issues and clearly communicate required technical support and/or advice.
  • Assist with special customer requirements in attachment application in field.
  • Diagnose faults for all company equipment.
  • Complete maintenance activities within the requirements of company and manufacturer schedules and requirements.
  • Attend to customer machine breakdowns and conduct repairs as required to manufacturer specifications.
  • Use specialist tools and/or testing equipment as provided by company and manufacturer as they were designed.
  • Ensure logbooks, service reports are completed correctly and forwarded to relevant management personnel.
  • Complete detailed pre-delivery inspection reports utilising the company forms.
  • Ensure all operations/testing of equipment is undertaken safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, codes of practice, Australian and site standards and procedures.
  • Ensure timely reporting, feedback and communications regarding all operational matters.
  • Assist with budgeting and planning as required.
  • Ensure site specific and company-based paperwork is completed properly.
  • Ensure all incidents and hazards are reported as per site and company processes.
  • Complete and abide by company and client specific inductions.
  • Participate and assist in incident investigations.
  • Manage fatigue within company or client requirements when conducting remote and field service activities with regular communication with supervisor or manager.
  • Ensure all required PPE is worn and used in accordance with its specifications.
  • Ensure principals of load restraint guides are followed during loading and unloading, and associated components or equipment. Complete COR paperwork as and when responsible
  • Ensure highest environmental standards are met.

 

Skills and Qualifications….

 

Suitable candidates should have the following skill set:

 

  • A fully trained and qualified Mobile/Construction Plant Technician will be considered only.
  • Successful applicants must be Trade qualified with 3-5 years’ post qualification experience.
  • Must be committed to upskilling via ongoing training in any area required.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service by providing a courteous and helpful service to new and returning customers.
  • Maintain and follow best practice processes and procedures.
  • ‘Can Do’ approach to work.
  • Punctual and time conscious individual
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work and working hours.
  • No breaches of site or vehicle security
  • Have a willingness to go extra mile.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the business.
  • Ensure workspace is kept clean and tidy with particular attention to H&S issues.
  • Ensure all required personal protection equipment is worn at all times report any defects, deficiencies to leadership immediately.
  • Ensure all waste is disposed of in the correct manner ensuring 100% compliance with company processes and procedures.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to relocating to the Australia on a long-term basis.

  • Competitive Annual Salary $98,000 (AUS) + depending on skills and experience.
