It is an industry known fact that suitably qualified Technicians are in short supply. In March 2022, IMI analysis of job postings for all automotive occupations shows a 51% increase in postings year-on-year.

This includes a 46% increase in the number of posts advertised for HGV technicians from January to March 2022. Globalforce UK is working with our dealer group clients to recruit car, LCV and HGV from overseas using the UK Skilled Worker Visa programme. This enables qualifying candidates to work in the UK on a 3- or 5-year visa initially.
